This is my Bullitt. It's a cargo bike, and I ride it as often as I can.
I am not a rabid cyclist. But the concept of cycling appeals to the engineer in me. Much in the same way that the concept of moving 4000 pounds of steel for three-quarters of a mile to pick up and bring home a gallon of milk does not appeal to me. So when I can, I ride. It just makes sense to me, and I enjoy it.
I have had the pleasure of riding in Copenhagen, which is where I purchased this bike. The cycling infrastructure is amazing, and it makes more sense to ride a bike there than to drive a car. I don't necessarily think that Copenhagen has all of the answers to our country's transportation issues, but I do think it has some of them.
I've also had the privilege and pleasure of doing legal work for bicycle manufacturers. In addition to IP work (patents, trademarks, etc.) I have drafted distribution and other types of business agreements for bicycle-related businesses.
Some cycling websites worth exploring:
Copenhagen Cycle Chic (Great pictures of citizen riders)
Copenhagenize (Deep thoughts about bike riding)
Larry vs Harry (Bullitt Cargo Bikes)
Velorbis (Classic Vintage Bikes and Fine Bags)
1 Less Car (T-Shirts and more)
